WHAT ARE WE DOING THESE DAYS:)

Hi Everyone!

The morning was not really cool for my daughter since she had her BCG vaccine in the morning just after she woke up! Ouff:( Then I took her out to have breakfast and we went to the park to make her forget the shock of the morning but she was not really satisfied with all that:) So she prefered sleeping after all:))

I hate vaccine days guys I must admit:)

So I want to share with you some stuff that we've been doing since the beginning of the year. First of all January is officially Galette des Rois (King Cake) month in France. It is really fun especially for the kids:) You buy a kind of cake called "galette" it is either filled with apple or frangipan. Inside there is a ceramic figurine hidden. With the cake they give you a paper crown,too:) This year there were Asterix figurines hidden in the cakes:) So you start eating cake (carefully of course not to swallow the figurine) then the one who has the figurine inside her/his piece chooses her king of his queen:) My hubby had the figurine in his piece of cake and this year I was not chosen his queen:))) since Juliette is the queen of the queens now:) So my queen days are over I guess! Hail the new queen:))

Then 2nd of February was crêpes day:) Everybody made crêpes:) And it was sold nearly everywhere on the streets etc:) I ate a big Nutella one (despite the diets):)

We started preparing Juliette's room:) Painting, moving her stuff from our room to her room (although her bed is still with us for the moment because there is still the odor of the painting) I didin't want to prepare her room before her birth. We've just purchased the most necessary stuff. I wanted to keep her first 6 months with me (breastfeeding etc...) so I knew that I had time. Now we rae doing it slowly taking our time. Perapring her room, we saw the my hubby and I took every room of the house unnecessarily. The house is not functional at all. So we moved out everything like we are moving here for the first time and sterted rearranging the house. For us it's a big mess to clean up but for Juliette it's great because she is playing with everything she finds:) My shoes, keys, cosmetics, hats, bags, paper, boxes... I think if there is someone who is going to be sad when all of this is over, that will be her:)

Bu sabah Juliette icin berbatti. Garibim daha afyonu patlamadan verem asisi oldu. Bir de kolundan bacagindan tuttular agladi berbatti benim icin de. Sabahin korunde de asi mi olurmus ya:( Sonra kendisini kahvaltiya, parka filan goturdum ama surat asmaya devam etti sonra da uyudu kaldi:( Acikcasi asi gunlerinden hic hoslanmiyorum ne yalan soyleyeyim.

Bugun sizinle yilin basindan beri yaptigimiz bazi seyleri paylasayim dedim. Oncelikle Ocak Ayi Fransa'da Galette de Rois (Kral Pastasi) ayi. Pastanin ici elmali, bademli filan olabiliyor. Bademlisi bana cok agir geliyor elmaliyi tercih ediyorum. Icinde porselen kucuk bir figur oluyor. Pasta dilimlere kesilip herkese dagitiliyor. Ha bu arada pastayla beraber de kagittan bir taç veriyorlar. Pastayi terken dikkat icindeki figuru de yutarsiniz sonra:)) Figuru bulan kralini ya da kralicesini seciyor taci ona takiyor. Cocuklar ozellikle cok egleniyorlar. Gunde iki uc tane pasta kesildigini bilirim yani. Bu seneki figurler Asterix karakterleriydi. Ve esim buldu bir tanesini. Ve belli ki benim kralicelik gunlerim sona ermis cunku kizini gonlunun kralicesi olarak secti:)))) Juliette de boylece taçlandi:))

Sonra 2 Subat Krep Gunu'ydu. Herkes evde krepler yapti. Sokaklar krep saticilariyla doldu. Ben de diyete ragmen bi Nutella'yi mideme indirdim. N'apalim:)

Sonracima Juliette'in odasini hazirlamaya basladik. Ben dogumdan once hazirlamadim. Ilk 6 ay bizim odada yatacagini biliyordum o yuzden sadece gerekli seyleri almistik. Yatak vs gibi. Simdi basladik yavas yavas yapiyoruz. Boyasi bitti. Stickerlar filan aldim yapistirmak icin. Birkac esyasini da odasina yerlestirdik ancak yatagi halen bizim odada boya kokusu vs gecsin diye bekliyoruz.

Bu arada onun odasini hazirlarken acayip gereksiz bir sekilde eve yayildigimizi farkedip odalari daha fonksiyonel kullanmaya karar verdik. Bir iki esyanin yerini degistirirken butun odalari bosaltip yeniden tasiniyormus gibi yapmaya karar verdik. Ne kadar cok ivir zivir sacma sapan sey ciktigina inanamazsiniz.

Bu karmasadan aramizda tek hoslanan Juliette. cunku kendisi herseyi elliyor, ayakkabilarla, kagitlarla, karton kutularla oynuyor. Sanirim ev duzenince durumdan hic hoslanmayacak.

MY LITTLE PARIS DETOX BOX

After New Year's Eve we feel like we have to make a fresh start. New Year's Resolutions for example are a part of this new page of our lives:) I think most of us put this item on their lists: I will take care of myself more:)) I will eat better, I will make more sports:))

Well, at least in my list there are these kinds of items:) So the little box I received will be a great helper:)

So let's start from the beginning. what is My Little Paris?

Actually I have the book and I also follow the web page. It's a life style book and web page where you can find very helpful details, recommendations about Paris. Each time I go to Paris I try to do one of their recommendations. Like Fish Spa for example:) That was fun:) And now they started sending Little Boxes:) 

Yilbasindan sonra hepimizin icinde yeni bir baslangic yapma istegi oldugu kesin:) Yeni Yil kararlari yazmalar, yeni kararlar almalar da bu yeni baslangic isteginin bir parcasi. Sanirim bircogumuzun listesinde de bu sene kendime daha iyi bakacagim, daha iyi yiyecegim, daha cok spor yapacagim gibi maddeler de vardir:) En azindan benimkinde var:)) O yuzden bana gelen bu kucuk kutu da bu konuda cok buyuk bir yardimci olacak:) Nedir o kucuk kutu derseniz konuya bastan baslama geregini duyuyorum:))

My Little Paris adli bir kitap ve web sitesi var arkadaslar. Yillardir takip ederim. Cok sevkli ve guzel fiklirler veren bir lifestyle kitabi ve sitesi. Paris'e gittigimde de onerilerinden bazilarini denemeye calisiyorum:) Ornegin Fish Spa bunlardan birisiydi. Cok da eglenceliydi. Simdi takipcilerine Kucuk Kutular gondermeye basladilar.

This month's Little Box is called Detox Box. Inside there are creams like Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream, Sénev Feet Detoxing Cream, Skin Ergetic Day and Night Creams from Biotherm. Besides there is Kusmi Tea which is a mix of Japanese Green Tea and rice:)

Bu ayin Kucuk Kutu'su Detox Kutusu olarak adlandirilmis. Icinde Elizabeth Arden'in Eight Hour Cream'i,  Sénev Feet Detoxing Cream, Biotherm'den Skin Ergetic Day and Night Cream var. Bunun yaninda da Kusmi Cay'i koymuslar. Japon yesil cayi ve pirinc karisimi vucudu temizleyici bir cay.

Besides the creams and tea there is a Cook Book from Alain Ducasse who is a very famous cook. It's all about natural, healthy food.

AFTER THE HORRIBLE ILLNESS, FLU WHATEVER THAT WAS

Oh my God Dear Friends,

I had such a terrible flu that I feel like I've been hit by a car, no wait a bus... First my hubby came home like not feeling so well and then he became so much ill. The baby and I were literally running away from him. But the horrible flu found us and caught us. Temperature changing from 36,7 to 40 like ever 15 minutes, trembling or feeling too hot (not in a sexy way:))) Headache, coughing (it remains even after 10 days). I really feel tired now and I'm trying to eat each and every fruit I see... Trying to recover... I didn't even have the possibility to read any blogs since I had too much headache. I checked out some TV Shows and discovered one new TV show which is about fashion Jane By Design. I think it is fun. 

Well, I hope I'm back for good:) See you soon guys:)

Acayip deli manyak bir gribe tutulduk ailecek o yuzden yokolmak durumunda kaldim. Su anda da araba hatta otobus carpmis gibiyim. Once esim acayip hastalandi. Korkudan bize gecek diye resmen kactik, saklandik ondan ama korkunun bu gribe faydasi yokmus cat diye saklandigimiz yerden buldu bizi. 15 dakikada bir 36,7 ile 40 arasinda degisen bir ates, titremeler, sicaklamalar, basagrisi ve hala gecmeyen su sapsal oksuruk. Su anda baya yorgun hissediyorum ama biran once kendimi toparlayacagim soz! :)

Hicbir bloga da bakamadim basagrisindan dolayi. Yavas yavas okuyacagim. Birkac kere dizi seyrettim. Modayla ilgili Jane by Desing diye eglenceli bir dizi baslamis onu kesfettim. Tavsiye ederim:) Ve bir de Yalan Dunya. Koptum arkadaslar acayip sevdim diziyi:) Sarp Apak'in sozleri aklimda surekli. Butun karakterler harika.

Evet umarim saglikli bir sekilde geri donerim artik:) Hepinizi opuyorum:)
